A Time Quickly Stopped
These images were all made during the spring 2020 lockdown period, which I spent exploring the land around my home in the company of my camera. I first photographed portions of bare earth, as if feeling the need for something solid to anchor myself to.
As the days passed and the spring season approached, I found myself dwelling on the signs of nature's indifferent rebirth. A geography rewritten, therefore, without points of reference. I simply let myself be carried away by my inner journeys: these photographs are the testimony of this experience.
